If you are looking for unique gifts this upcoming holiday season, consider looking no further than Delaware State Parks. Whether it is an annual pass, surf fishing permit or a t-shirt supporting parks, you can find a gift for almost everyone on your list.
“Delaware is home to an incredible array of natural wonders and a state park annual pass allows your recipient to explore ocean beaches, inland ponds, forests, rolling hills or piedmont streams throughout the state,” Matthew Ritter, Director of Delaware State Parks, said. “Purchases of annual passes contribute to the preservation of our parks as all fees stay within the system, protecting open space and wildlife.”
Annual permits and surf permits go on sale December 9, 2025 and can be purchased by visiting the Delaware State Park website.
If an annual pass is not something you feel those on your gift list would use, consider purchasing souvenirs and apparel sold by the state park system.
“State parks offer a wide range of souvenirs and apparel,” Ritter said. “We have trading card sets, t-shirts in both short and long-sleeved versions, hats, tumblers, mugs, stickers, keychains and more at reasonable prices.”
Prices range from $6 for a keychain, which make great stocking stuffers to $7 for stickers. Trading card sets, which are also excellent stocking stuffers, cost $10 and t-shirt prices range from $22 to $28. Hats range from $26 to $30 with mugs, cups and tumblers ranging from $18 to $32.

This event runs from November 25 through December 11 and allows you to bid on your favorite number or a number favored by a surf-fishing enthusiast on your list.
