Police have arrested Terrell Boyce, 29, of Greenwood, for two robberies at knifepoint in Milford. The first incident was at Shawnee Country Store on Shawnee Road on September 14.
On September 19, troopers responded to the Valero Shore Stop at 1885 Bay Road in Milford for a reported robbery. According to witnesses, an unknown suspect entered the business, brandished a knife and demanded the clerk open cash registers. An undisclosed amount of money was taken along with cigars before the man fled the scene.
Witnesses also reported that the suspect was a black male wearing black clothing, a description that not only fit the suspect in the Shawnee Country Store robbery, but also a similar robbery in Dover as well as another robbery in Milford.
A warrant for Boyce’s arrest was issued on September 21 and he was arrested by Dover Police Department without incident. He was taken to Troop 3 and charged with robbery in the first degree, two counts; possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, two counts; wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, two counts.
He was arranged by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $110,000 cash bond.
