An accident involving a pickup and a tractor-trailer closed portions of Dupont Highway for several hours on August 29. The accident occurred at the intersection of Johnson Road and Dupont Highway in Lincoln.
Several people in the accident were injured and transported to area hospitals, No word was released on their condition. Vehicles were detoured around the area of the crash and traffic was delayed even hours after the crash was cleared.
