Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting on Fleatown Road in Lincoln that occurred September 18 around 6:21 AM.
According to police, an unknown suspect entered the residence through an unsecured door and shot a 66-year-old man in the chest while he was sleeping. The victim was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries and the investigation remains ongoing.
