Nothing warms the heart more than time spent with family and friends. Dolce Bakery and Coffee Shop has created the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee, enjoy a baked good made from scratch daily and catch up with your best friend, sister, mother or cousin.
The perfect stocking stuffer is a gift card from Dolce to encourage those on your list to slow down and enjoy life. The gift card can be used for a cup of fair-trade coffee or latte, one of their famous cinnamon rolls or other freshly baked pastries. Prefer savory? Dolce has fresh-made breakfast sandwiches and some of the best chicken salad you will find in town.
Dolce opened in 2004, the dream of then owners George Carroll and Chuck Stanko. In 2001, they sold the business to Dean and Stephanie Tatman and, in 2016, Dolce was purchased by Mark Dissinger, who operates the business with his son-in-law, Chris Tenbusch. When he purchased the business, Dissinger said that when his daughter, Libby, worked at the coffee shop when she was younger, after her shift, the two would talk about what they would do if they owned the company.
Dolce is located at 36 North Walnut Street in Milford. Their hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM and on Saturday from 7 AM to 1 PM. They are closed on Sunday.
