One of the newest and most unique locations in downtown Milford, The Cured Plate, not only offers amazing food and drink, but they also offer an experience unlike any other in town. Designed as a “speakeasy” from the era of Prohibition, guests must acquire a password before entering the restaurant. Inside, it is dark and intimate, with high top tables, a bar and comfortable seating. When you enter, you feel as if you walked into a secret bar from the 1930s.
The Cured Plate is the dream of Liz Klingensmith who was creating beautiful charcuterie boards for many years. Viewing the process as an art form, she and her husband, Kenny, began to consider opening a restaurant focused on charcuterie. They opened in February 2024 and have been growing ever since.
The Cured Plate is located at 27 South Walnut Street, Unit 103, in Milford. They are open Wednesday and Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM. They are also open Friday and Saturday from 5 PM to 11 PM.
