The City of Milford launched the National Community Survey to gain information from the community as part of its strategic planning process. The survey asks about government services and quality of life in Milford.
“We are excited to receive more input from the community to guide our strategic plan,” Mark Whitfield, City Manager, said. “The survey will help us get a baseline understanding of our services and allow us to measure our impact going forward.”
Randomly selected households will receive a mailed survey invitation over the next few weeks. Households that receive the invitation are asked to follow the instructions to complete the survey. All residents can provide their input in a few weeks when it is released to the entire community.
“We strongly encourage all residents to take the survey,” Whitfield said. “The more people who participate, the better data we will have to inform our plan. This is an opportunity for everyone in the community to share their thoughts and shape the future of Milford.”
The survey collects information from the public regarding the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment and more. The results will provide information on where Milford could use improvement, its strengths and, most especially, provide insight into what matters most to Milford residents and businesses. In addition, the survey will provide a comparison on how Milford compares to other communities in the US.
