City announces road repair schedule

The City of Milford recently announced several road repairs over the next few weeks. Some will require road closures so drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.

Milling planned Church Street and Maple Avenue were postponed due to rain. Milling will now take place April 14 and paving on Monday, April 21. Milling on North Washington Street from NE 6th Street to Northeast 4th Street began on April 9. Paving on North Walnut Street is scheduled to begin Monday, April 14.

Stewarts Freeze Dried Candy Shop

Starting Monday, April 7, water and sewer services continued to be transferred from the old mains to new ones along South Washington Street. The city contractor began milling the road on Monday, April 7, preparing for an upcoming paving project. The work will take place from 7 AM to 5 PM.

The city is asking no one to park on the road during those hours staring April 7. The road is scheduled to be paved on Monday, April 14.
