The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford recently announced their Honorary Mayor Candidates for this year. The mayor will replace Mark Dissinger who served as last year’s honorary mayor.
“Our candidates this year are ready to share their compassion for the community,” Jo Schmeiser, Executive Director of the Chamber, said. “But they need your support. Voting is simple, fun and makes a difference.”
Scala works in marketing at PACE your Life and an avid Yankees fan. Barczewski owns Matt’s Market and is the president of the Milford Rotary Club. He enjoys going on fun vacations with his wife.
Jason O’Connor works with the Mental Health Association of Delaware and when he’s not working, he loves spending time with “the grands.”
Candidates with the most votes will serve as the next Honorary Mayor, representing the community and supporting the Chamber’s vital programs and events. Candidates will also be doing their own fund raising to try to win the seat.
The nominees this year are Matt Barczewski, Jason O’Connor and Damian Scala.

Votes can be cast by clicking here and clicking on “Vote for Honorary Mayor.” Each vote costs $1 and each dollar counts toward the candidate. The winner will be announced at the Thursday, September 25 Chamber mixer. For more information, contact CCGM by calling 302-422-3344.
