The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford released their Calendar of Events for 2026 this week. The calendar includes several events that require membership and others that are open to the public.
On New Year’s Day, the Chamber office will be closed so that staff can celebrate the holidays. Members are invited to the Bayhealth Information Presentation Luncheon from 12-2 PM at Big Oyster on Friday, January 23.
Members are also invited to the Workforce Development Luncheon from 11 AM to 1 PM on February 4. This will be held at Grotto Pizza. The Pampering & Partnerships is planned at Big Oyster from 11 AM to 2 PM on March 6 and the Community Expo will be held at the Milford Senior Center on March 26 from 5 to 7 PM. Tickets will go on sale for Pampering & Partnerships after the first of the year, while the Expo is free to attend for everyone.
On April 1, the Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon for members will be held at Springhill Suites in Frederica with catering by Kay’s Kitchen. The event is from 11 AM to 1 PM. The CCGM office will be closed on Good Friday, April 3.
CCGM will also be closed on Memorial Day, May 25 as well as Independence Day on July 4. The Legislative Luncheon for members will be July 8 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Big Oyster. The Annual Golf Classic is planned for July 16 from 5 to 7 PM at Southern Delaware Golf Club. The office will be closed on Labor Day, September 7.
The largest outdoor event in Southern Delaware, Riverwalk Freedom Festival, is planned for September 19. On October 3, the Foodie Poker Run and Motorcycle Show is planned at I.G. Burton. The Annual Membership Luncheon for members is planned for October 14 from 111 AM to 1 PM at Bibi’s Restaurant.
The Holiday Auction and Taste of Milford will be at the Milford Elks Lodge on November 19. The CCGM office will be closed for Thanksgiving on November 26 and 27.
Sunrise Seminars and Mixers are also planned throughout the year for members. The CCGM office will be closed November 24, 25 and 29 for the holidays next year.
