The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford announced several events scheduled over the next few weeks that are designed to not only provide information to members, but also to highlight local businesses in the area.

“We hold monthly mixers for members as a way for them to connect with other business owners. These have become great networking events while also showcasing a local business,” Jo Schmeiser, Executive Director, said. “On April 17, we held on at Dolce Bakery & Coffee Shop and it was a wonderful event.”

In addition to monthly mixers, CCGM offers Sunrise Seminars, breakfast meetings at the Milford Place Bistro at 500 S. Dupont Boulevard in Milford. The next seminar will feature Richard Bromley with Dover Federal Credit Union. Members who arrive by 7:30 AM earn the chance to win a gift card from Dolce. Only members may attend the mixers and Sunrise Seminars.

“We also offer our members ribbon cuttings which could be when they open a new business, celebrate a milestone or simply want to rededicate their company for some reason,” Schmeiser said. “We provide the ribbon and scissors while also inviting dignitaries to join us. When the business is located in the downtown area, we partner with Downtown Milford Inc. as a way to collaborate.”

Elevated Real Estate Solutions will hold a grand opening on April 25 with a ribbon cutting at their new location in the Trinity Executive Center, formerly the Marvel Building, at 15 North Walnut Street. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 3 PM.

All Climate Storage Center will celebrate their five-year anniversary with a ribbon cutting at 22754 Argo’s Corner Road in Milford on Tuesday, May 13 from 5 to 7 PM. Tours of the facility will be provided and there will be light refreshments. They are asking for RSVP at [email protected] or call 302-922-3010.

To learn more about becoming a member of CCGM, call 302-422-3344 or email Schmeiser or her assistant, Jennie Hess. The office is located in the Windsor Building, 24 Northwest Front Street, Suite 101 in Milford.
