The second in our series of articles about camping in the Milford area, we provide details about Jellystone Park at Delaware Beaches.

Part of the national chain of Jellystone Park Campgrounds, Jellystone Park at Delaware Beaches offers many of the amenities available at the chains found across the country, including a splash pad, two waterslides, an arcade, playground and more.
Jellystone Park at Delaware Beaches is located at 8295 Brick Granary Road in Lincoln, just off Coastal Highway. The campground offers RV and tent sites as well as cabins and safari tents for rent.
The campground, which was called Yogi Bear Campground, the property was purchased by Blue Water Development out of Ocean City in 2020, opening in early 2021 after renovations which included the splashpad, waterslides and WIFI improvements.
There are 23 cabins, 216-full-electric-hookup campsites, 16 pull-thru sites and both primitive and premium tent sites. The premium tent sites include water and electric hookups while the primitive sites do not. All sites include a picnic table and fire ring.
Cabins include premiere versions with WIFI, electric, heating and air condition along with a kitchenette. Each cabin has its own bathroom and small patio. Choose from one, two or three bed units all with picnic tables and fire rings as well. Some of the cabins are pet friendly. Linens are provided and each unit has a television located in the main room.
Safari tents provide visitors with rustic charm and modern comfort. The tents are on an elevated platform and furnished with a queen bed, full futon and twin bunk beds. There is a full bathroom with rainfall shower, sink and toilet along with a small kitchenette. Each tent has a furnished porch, fire ring and picnic table as well. The tents sleep up to six, but do not include linens. There are no televisions in the safari tents.


Each week, the park offers special events for guests. Some of the upcoming events are Christmas in July, Wacky Water Extravaganza Week and Tailgate Week. One of the most popular events at the campground are the end of October when they hold Yogi Bear’s Fright Fest Weekend. There is a pumpkin patch, costume contest, site decorating and trick-or-treating.
The park also offers birthday packages, hayrides, ice cream socials, Saturday night movies, and many creative programs like sand art, ceramics and tie-dye. There is Storytime & Tuck-In with a bear, a magical bedtime tradition at the campground.
Jellystone Park at Delaware Beaches is open from April 1 to November 1. Check in for all campers is 3 PM and checkout at 11 AM. Standard reservations require a one-night minimum deposit at the time of the reservation. The maximum permitted on one site is six people and in cabins is seven. Guests and visitors are permitted, but they must register at the office and pay $5 per person vehicle fee. All visitors must leave by 10 PM.
Quiet time at the campground is 11 PM to 8 AM daily. The speed limit is five miles per hour on all campground roads. One vehicle is included in the site fee and one additional parking pass may be purchased for $10 per day. All motorized vehicles must have proof of insurance to be permitted on the property. Large terrain vehicles like ATV and UTV are not permitted. Adequately insured golf carts are permitted but can only be operated by a licensed driver.


All pets must wear a current, valid license. Proof of rabies vaccination must be provided at check in. There is a limit of two pets per site for accommodations and owners are required to clean up after their pet. Pets must be leashed at all times and must not be left outside unattended.
All bicyclists under the age of 16 must wear a helmet and any bicycle operated after dark must have working lights.
