Bayhealth, in an effort to fight hunger in the community, has planned food drives that will begin January 19 and end February 22. Items can be dropped off at the following locations:
- Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus, Main Entrance – 640 South State Street, Dover
- Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus, Main Entrance – 100 Wellness Way, Milford
- Bayhealth Walk-in Medical Care, Blue Hen – 665 Bay Road, Unit C, Dover
- Bayheatlh Outpatient Center – 315-401 North Carter Road, Smyrna
- Bayhealth Occupational Health, Total Care, Milton – 18383 Hudson Road, Milton
Most needed items include hot and cold cereal, canned vegetables, peanut butter, canned fruit, canned meats, rice, pasta, healthy snacks and 100 percent fruit and vegetable juice. Canned meats include tuna fish while healthy snacks include granola bars. Juice boxes are accepted as well.
