Bayhealth announced recently that Jessica Taylor, FNP-C, has joined their Palliative Care team. Taylor joins Sunny Mehrotra, MD; Theresa Latorre-Tegtmeier, DNP, NP-C; Robin Maracle, AGCNS-BC and Holly Browne, ANP-BC.
“We’re proud to expand our Palliative Care team to respond to the needs of our community,” Bayhealth Vice-President, Physicians Services Operations Dina Perry, MBA, said. “We know that palliative care enhances the lives of patients who face serious illnesses or multiple conditions that may be difficult to handle. Our team is here for those individuals and their families at any point or any length of time during their illness to help them better manage symptoms and treatment side effects and have an improved ability to carry on with life.”
A board-certified family nurse practitioner, Taylor has more than 15 years of experience providing care in the local community. She started her nursing career at Bayhealth and has served as a clinical practice leader on medical/surgical units, a clinical nurse specialist and as a nurse practitioner in a primary care private practice in Maryland.
The Bayhealth Palliative Care practice is part of the Bayhealth Medical Group, a partnership of highly trained physicians and advanced practice clinicians and teams that operates medical offices throughout Delaware. The practice offers care for anyone dealing with complex medical conditions or a serious illness.
