Bayhealth has been recognized as a national leader in digital health performance, earning Acute Level 8 and Ambulatory Level 9 distinctions in the 2025 Digital Health Most Wired Survey conducted by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). The results place Bayhealth among the top health systems in the nation for effective technology integration, digital strategy, and measurable impact on patient care.
The 2025 survey introduced an enhanced methodology to better reflect the rapidly evolving digital health landscape. With higher expectations and more precise benchmarking across comparable organizations, the updated framework raised the bar for all participants. Bayhealth’s strong performance under these elevated standards underscores the health system’s continued leadership and commitment to digital transformation.
“This isn’t an IT or a technology award. This is an award that recognizes Bayhealth’s technology adoption for measurable impact across infrastructure, cybersecurity, analytics, interoperability, patient engagement and clinical quality,” said Interim Chief Information Officer Ron Belfont, MS, CISSP, CHCIO, CDH-E, CLSSGB, ITIL, CPM. “This recognizes Bayhealth’s commitment to leverage technology to improve both patient outcomes and the patient experience.”
In addition to national recognition, the updated survey structure provides organizations with clearer guidance for future growth. As part of the 2025 designation, Bayhealth will gain access to detailed dashboards and benchmark reports through the CHIME Digital Health Analytics portal, offering insights to help guide strategic digital health investments and inform upcoming initiatives.
Bayhealth’s achievements were recognized publicly at the CHIME Fall Forum in November, where health systems from across the country gathered to celebrate innovation and leadership in digital health.
