Milford School District Superintendent Travis Moorman reminded the community of holiday events and schedules in his December message. Moorman wished everyone holiday greetings and thanked the community for their support.
“December brings a wealth of school celebrations and performing arts,” Moorman said. “I encourage all members of our school community to make the effort to attend at least one of our school holiday concert performances, whether you have a student performing or not. I truly believe watching the talent of our many student performers and the commitment of our performing arts educators will contribute to the joy and celebration this time of year brings.”
Moorman reminded the community that a packed house helps encourage the students and shows them how much they are appreciated. Concert dates, times and locations can be found on the district community calendar online.
“We are also excited about the opening of our winter sports season which kicks off with boys’ and girls’ basketball home openers,” Moorman said. “Along with our Unified basketball , swim, indoor track and wrestling teams, I hope you are able to come out and attend a few of these events and cheer our Bucs to victory.”

Schools and offices will open to the public on January 5, but students will not return until January 6.”
