Mispillion Art League will offer Studio Tours on Saturday, November 15 from 9 AM to 4 PM, allowing visitors to meet with local artists in their element. Ten artists will be on hand for the event providing information on pottery, painting, mixed media, photography and more.
This is a self-guided tour which will provide details on how materials are selected, the way work evolves from an idea to completion and what fuels the creative drive of each artist. Visitors will be able to see work-in-progress and talk to each artist to gain insight into their craft. Artwork will be available for purchase with many offering discounts.
Artists participating in the event include Rosemary Connelly, a watercolor artist; Clay Cox, a ceramic artist; Michael Fleshman, mixed-media artist; Harry Humes, acrylics; Mike Sorley, oils; Marcia Reed, mixed-media; Karin Rindal, mixed-media; Kathy Stetson, mixed-media; Joseph Terrone, oiils; and Richard Allen White, photography.
Event registration is required and a map with studio addresses will be provided upon registration. Donations to Mispillion Art League are encouraged but not required. Donations help the art league meet their mission to provide community-wide access to quality visual arts programs.
