Bayhealth Medical Group has announced the addition of cardiologist Dr. Krunalkumar Patel to its team at Bayhealth Cardiology, Dover, Governors Avenue. Dr. Patel joins a group of dedicated clinicians committed to providing patient-centered care and improving heart health across the community.

Patel said he looks forward to partnering with patients on their journey to better heart health.

Patel completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Fellow. He also completed a research fellowship in cardiology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York, and an internal medicine residency at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
Before moving to the United States, Dr. Patel earned his medical degree from Smolensk State Medical University in Russia and completed an internship at Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College at New Civil Hospital in India. He also practiced as a hospitalist in India before pursuing his cardiology specialty training in the U.S.
