The final First Friday of 2026 will be held Friday, October 2 from 5 to 8 PM in downtown Milford and will celebrate Hispanic Heritage night. The event is one of the most popular First Fridays sponsored by Downtown Milford Inc.

“In previous years, although the actual event is from 5 to 8 PM, the celebration lasts well past 8 PM downtown,” Sade Truiett, Executive Director of Downtown Milford Inc. said. “Last year, an impromptu dance demonstration was held in La Hacienda after the event ended, and we imagine that could happen again.”
There will be vendors as well as a wide range of food trucks available during the event. Many downtown businesses will offer specials and remain open later than normal for customers.

“We will have music by the very talented Rocio Trivino along with other Hispanic-themed entertainers,” Truiett said. “We are excited to see people dancing in the street and celebrating the Hispanic culture at this event.
Sponsorships are still available and can be obtained online. Volunteers are also always welcome. Contact Truiett by calling 302-839-1080 or send an email if you would like to be a volunteer.
